Phoenix, AZ: July 23, 2003 -- Continuing in its mission to help iSeries users leverage their investment in Twinax, BOSaNOVA, Inc. has begun shipping a complete kit that turns its BOSâNOVA LTC-600 Thin Client into a leading-edge wireless communications solution.
"Wireless makes a lot of sense in large, open locations such as warehouses. Several customers have already ordered our BOSâNOVA LTC-600 Thin Clients with the wireless kit for that purpose," explains Martin Pladgeman, BOSaNOVA, Inc. President. A complete solution, the Wireless Kit (PID 8022) adds 802.11b wireless communication support, a PCMCIA card and an activated PCMCIA slot to the standard BOSâNOVA LTC-600 configurations. (PID 8021 supports Cisco's Aeronet 350 wireless card.)
The BOSâNOVA LTC Series of thin client terminals feature embedded iSeries and pSeries emulation to provide a low cost, easily configurable and versatile solution for TN5250e and TN3270e connectivity. A built-in Mozilla web browser supports e-mail and provides Intranet / Internet access.
